Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Russia Fri Apr 26, 2013 7:07 pm

It's just an ordinary day at your High School until in the middle of second hour, you see a big, black truck pull up in front of the school. The annoncements come on and there is maniacal laughter. "Hello everyone." cackles the voice. It's your principal. "If you haven't noticed, there are soldiers with big, dangerous, and deadly guns walking through the hallway. These are to kill you. The 24 students that are left at the end of the homicidal massacre will then be trained for the next month and be sent out to try to escape this school by killing their set targets. This is a game of hunt or be hunted so students, don't try to run out of the school. There are guns in the lockers, and armor hidden around the school. You all have twenty minutes to figure out what you're going to do. Don't try to call, the phones are all disconnected. Don't worry about your parents. They've all been contacted and killed. Remember, only the strong can win." The announcements went off and all of a sudden, red lights started flashing and there was a loud countdown clock, counting down you twenty minutes. You stand and run, along with your classmates. Looking at the teacher, she is shooting kids in the back who are sitting there crying and in shock. You dart out of the room and to your locker, opening it and finding a gun thrown in there with a pack of ammo. Taking it, your phone, and packing your backpack with neccessities, you slam your locker shut and run to where you think you'll be the most safe.

Name: Finn
Age: 16
Grade: 10
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mistakes Can Be Fatal Tumblr_mc71urEmiy1rjtjreo1_500
Short bio: Finn is a pretty laid-back type of person, always being the first to remain calm in a situation. He's had to learn that it is either a fight or flight thing, and his mind slows itself before panic arises so the 16-year-old can decide what to do. His friends all love his relaxed and always happy attitude, but Finn tends to clam up and keep to himself when he's in a new environment surrounded by people he doesn't know. All though he gets a lot of hate for it, he is proud to be homosexual, and it doesn't bother him much when people yell things at him. Most people know him as "that weird kid" in their grade who is "outgoing, quiet, and very intelligent." Everything is true about him, because he likes to be himself, whether it means being the one guy to raise his hand to be a volunteer in almost anything, to being the person who has the highest grades in his classes. Despite being a good student, Finn is a good musician and engineer, being Honours first chair cello and first chair oboist. He likes to build and program robots at his house and have little battles with his other robotic-geek friends and enters competitions which usually end with him both winning and losing.

Short bio: Ai kind of keeps to herself, more focused on random things like drawing or music.... All of those things making her shove people out of her life, and now she's perfectly content the way she is. She tends to try to avoid anything that causes trouble, but often seems to find herself running into a lot of it. She's not always good in stressful situations, but she does know how to function during them.

Name: Kiley
Age: 15
Grade: Sophomore
Gender: Female
Appearance: Mistakes Can Be Fatal Punkchick
Short bio: Kiley acts as the quiet girl in school, so people are quite surprised when she acts out. Truth be told, she's used a gun before, a bow and arrows, and lots of other weapons. She keeps to herself for various reasons. She is very athletic, she plays Basketball, Track and Field, Swimming, Soccer, Softball and Tennis. Therefore, she can run quite fast and is very agile. Kiley also has very good grades. She's been on High Honors since she's been in school. Her lowest test score was an 87%, and she hated it. She hates getting anything less than an A, and that was the only time it happened. She is highly intelligent. She is also very passionate about her music. She loves to sing when others are not around. Because she is in so many sports, she always keeps a few extra pairs of clothes in her locker for changing. People sometimes call her a pushover and she hates that, because she's most definately not. She calls people out for saying that about her. Kiley is a very nice person once you get to know her. As she always says, "Don't judge me if you don't know me!" Smile

Name: Reyna
Age: 16
Grade: Junior
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Spoiler:
Short bio: Reyna was never the kind to talk to anyone at school. She loved to daydream and forget about the world around her. There was nothing for her in the one she lived in and make new worlds frequently. Though a daydreamer, Reyna has good grades and does well in school. Her parents left her to live with her extended family when she was young. She didn't bother to get to know any of them, only talking to them when she found it necessary. Between drawing, reading and playing computer games, socialization never seemed like something worth the effort. Reyna did, however, like animals and spent her days with her cat in her room. In school, Reyna thrives on creativity and is well known by her peers for it. Intelligent and relaxed, she never stresses over things. Having found time on slow weekend and break mornings, between all of her procrastination, Reyna taught herself how to use "old-timey" weapons, such as daggers, swords and bows.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Russia Sun May 05, 2013 2:06 am

Finn didn't hear the announcement at first when it started, but he looked up and realised that everyone had stopped working and were looking at the speaker built into the wall. He lowered his headphones from his ears and had to shut off his music in order to hear and process what was said. The dyed-black-haired boy's eyes widened. He slammed his laptop shut and stuffed it in its case, which he then crammed into his white and black, checkered backpack. Finn heard other students doing the same and looked up, stuffing his drawings and papers neatly into his folder. The 10th grader shoved his folder, and then his advanced physics textbook in. His heart was racing. If he didn't get out of the classroom and into somewhere safe, the 11th graders in his class might take advantage and attack him or something, and that was terrifying.

It was a good thing that his seat was one row away from the closest exit, because once that announcement was over, everyone bolted. Finn was left being the third last to leave, and he had to view the first death he had ever seen in his entire life. The teacher had pulled a handgun from behind his desk, aimed, and shot a blond-haired girl. This just made Finn nauseous. He felt lightheaded because of it, but the black-haired boy couldn't give up at a time like this. He had to find his friends, get his stuff from his locker, and get to somewhere where he wouldn't ever be expected to be found.

Finn ran through the hallways. It was crowded. People were being mauled by groups of older kids, and there were a few corpses of freshmen speckled along the way. It was sick and twisted and terrible, and every time Finn would come across a dead body on the ground, he would silently wish them happiness. All though he wasn't religious, Finn liked to pray for people to make them feel happier. His crystal blue eyes caught sight of a girl he knew in his grade. She was running from a gang of seniours who were yelling and shouting at her, shouting things like "Come here, sweetie! We can make you have a good time!"
How disgraceful, Finn thought, That the big kids- the role-models of the school- were now looked at as the most vicious and dangerous. While he was in his thoughts, the rather lanky boy didn't notice that he had attracted a few older kids. They were a good ten feet away, which didn't leave much room for running, but Finn took his chances. He ran as quickly as he could through the mess of blood and children on the floor, making his way to the place where he knew he would be safe. To the place that he knew no-one would be.
Finn was heading for the orchestra classroom on the third floor of his school.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Dream Sun May 05, 2013 12:05 pm

As soon as the announcements came on, Kiley knew there was something wrong. After all, why would a big black truck just pull up in front of the school, and then after that, announcements? Obviously something wasn't right. She was in her AP English class when this happened, so there weren't many people there. About 10 in the class. And she was friends with them all. So about three seconds after the announcements came on, Kiley immidately started packing her things away. The rest of the class followed suit.

When the announcements shut off, Kiley looked at her class and said, "I wish you all the best of luck! I love you all!" and then raced out. Followed by the class. She went straight to her locker and pulled out the gun, the ammo, and her change of clothes and stuffed them in her backback, pulling it over her shoulders, and placed the gun through her belt with the ammo. That's when she noticed Finn, who was in her grade, run past her. Followed by a few older kids. Not thinking twice, Kiley pulled out her gun and shot the guys who were following Finn, then took a look around for the first time.

People were being shot. Freshmen mainly littered the floor. Seniors thinking they're so tough tried to just leave, but ended up being shot. Juniors were a little more sensible, and actually tried to fight. Some were killed, some weren't. Sophomores, aka Kiley's grade, looked scared, and they ran. Some shot people in the process. Others just ran. And then shot. Freshmen were too scared to do anything, and most of them were shot.

Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Kiley ran to the second hallway, shooting down some of the guards on her way. Then she was caught, a hand on one of her wrists as a gun was pointed to her head. She gulped. But just as the man was going to shoot her, she had an idea. She used her other hand to move the gun away from her head, and the man shot himself in the neck. And then she ran. Again.

Kiley ran to the choir room, which is right next to the orchestra room, on the third floor. She shot down the teacher that was there, and then took a look around the room. It was filled with choir books, but that's not all. Under the chairs were knives and daggers. Under the piano was a bow and arrows. There were lots and lots of weapons. Maybe Kiley and her friends could get through this.

Maybe, just maybe... Kiley and her friends could win.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Heartybro Sun May 05, 2013 1:11 pm

Alone. That's where Amity was. All alone in the auditorium room. She was dancing on the stage, pretending there were millions of people, as many of the musical and plays she performs in, watching her. The announcement truly struck her. Was she scared? Perhaps. She wasn't the type of person to go around and shoot things, kill things. None of that. She was never trained to. Her heart and her desires were to become a wonderful actress and star in many movies. The substitute for that was the plays the school had. But perhaps one thing of hers could be of use; her acting. She could trick people so easily with her acts. In the end, though, she'd end up dead. She knew she would end up dead. The least she could do is.. Enjoy herself once last time. In the back of her head she was hoping and praying no one would enter. She could act her favorite play in this time! All in her lonesome, of course.. Her favorite play being Romeo and Juliet. From the beginning where Juliet meets Romeo, to the middle where they have the wedding. To Romeo being banished and her going to the Friar for help to prevent the marriage with Paris. Juliet had her death faked and planned to run away with Romeo to live happily ever after. But the play was a tragedy. All of them must end sad. Just like this. Just like the announcements saying how most of them will die. From how Juliet and Romeo so easily died like that.. She felt that she won't make it through as well. She knew she would die if someone found her.

She took a break from pretending on stage and dancing. Her legs were sore from running here as quick as she can. They gave in and she plopped down on the floor. A sad sigh escaped her lips. Her hands covered her face. Tears were at her eyes. She didn't want to die like this. All her dreams, gone. Everything she looked forward to.. Gone. Her dreams of walking down the red carpet in a beautiful dress as people took photos of her were meaningless. The dreams of staring in movies and playing as wonderful characters. She wouldn't have allowed any offer to go by as a no. Her green eyes looked up and watched the doors. She heard the running of kids. Their feet dashing against the ground quickly. There was a larger kid after them. The group of kids had one of the members slip and fall down. The larger kid who couldn't have been more than 6'3 and weighed how much a football player should at his height, picked the kid up by the back of their shirt. He then twisted their head, basically killing them with a snap of the neck. The group screamed out for their fallen friend. But the possible football player looked at them with pleasure of the murder in his eyes. It was obvious, he always seemed to have hated these kids. They were the nerdy bunch who always got things right and yelled out the answers before anyone could raise their hands.

"Run puppies~" He mocked at them as they ran off. He stood there and stepped on the dead body. He then turned to look into the room Amity was in. No no.. Don't let him come in here.. were her only thoughts.

Bakar had found this hilarious! As the announcement went off, his head hung and a smile curved on his face. Then slowly afterwards, he was laughing. Death! He was able to do the one thing he loved the most! Kill people! The entire class looked at him like he was insane. Okay, he was. He suffered through psychopathy. His emotions consisted of one out of two things, kill or I'm planning your death. Right now it was kill. Oh kill big time. He hasn't done this for the longest time and now was his chance. Oh this was brilliant to him!

As kids ran out, they knew they would have to avoid Bakar. His criminal record was known across the school. Everyone knew not to tick him off. He got up and walked off like it was nothing. His locker was across the class he was in. He didn't keep books or any of that learning nonsense in there. He kept his toy, his sickle, in there instead. It was, afterall, his most prized possession.

After obtaining his most prized possession, he was ready. There were so many people to kill, but too many on his list. He pondered for a moment, debating who to go for first. Anyone he sees of course. The first one he sees will be dead. The luck of a cheerleader wasn't with her today. She was grabbing whatever she can from her locker. Panic was running through her veins. You can tell from her face that this whole situation scared her. Her face was white as a ghost. Her hand went to reach for her mirror as she saw behind her was Bakar. The maniac itself. He put his sickle around her neck and said, "Goodnight.." And beheaded his victim.

That felt wonderful.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Nightling Sun May 05, 2013 10:34 pm

Reyna had been in the orchestra room when the announcement blared across the speakers. She was alone, secluded, hiding from the annoyance people caused her at school. She truly did hate them. Most of them anyways. She had just finished packing her instrument away into its case, half zipped when she heard that her family had been killed. Even if she didn't care much for them, they were all she had. What had become of her pet cat? Her beloved Kishan. A dark-chocolatey colored tabby cat with dazzling amber eyes. Rage filled her veins, adrenaline raced through her like venom. Now, she was glad that she had made that secretive pocket in her violin case that held two of her best daggers. She ripped the half-zipped case open and pulled on the pocket’s latch. There they were, her daggers. Gleaming in the dim light of the school’s old light bulbs. The sharp blades were tucked against the simulated wood inside of the case, held there by thin strips of cloth. Reyna ran a finger down one of the blades, down to the hilt where a shiny amethyst sat. Shaped and crafted metal formed a comfortable handle for the hilt and the amethyst sat in the butt end of each. The long, straight blades were made of the best metal and sharpened until they could cut through anything without resistance. Carefully, Reyna pulled out the daggers from their hiding place, carefully cleaning debris and dust from their blades with her soft cloth shirt. Opening her backpack, Reyna pulled out a leather belt fitted with two sheaths. Threading the belt through the loops on her jeans, Reyna slide the daggers into the belt. She would have more time than the other kids to ready herself. Most other kids in Orchestra would be dead by now and others wouldn't bother coming here.

Thinking back, Reyna remembered hearing the door of the practice room hall opening and closing earlier. A heavy, unmistakable thud that resounded through the room twice. Realization hit her and she ran to the hall. There, sitting in the corner were two heavy Kevlar vests and some other padding for arms, legs and shoulders. Carefully avoiding the small window to the hall, Reyna crawled to the vest and padding. She pulled everything she could on, leaving the second set of armour there for someone else. She fitted the armour tightly, but loose enough to allow movement and breathing room. She would avoid the lockers as long as she could, even if someone managed to break into her’s. She wanted to avoid being killed as long as she could and figured most of the first killings would be there, at the lockers. She would need a plan of action. Thankfully, she knew this school inside and out. Reyna crawled back past the window and back to her backpack. She pulled her things into a corner that wasn't easily seen from doors or windows. Digging in her backpack briefly, she pulled a notebook out and a pen. She began drawing and planning. Marking places that would be safe, and others to avoid completely.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by You Know Who I Am Mon May 06, 2013 10:16 am

She was running down the halls, nameless faces chasing her. Step after step after step- they were gaining on her. She was stumbling, panting, choking for air until finally she tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground, the school bell ringing in her ears. The blank faces stood over her, laughing, laughing, laughing. She began to shake as one raised a knife-
Maure was torn away from her book when the announcement came on. She shook her head, folded the corner of the page to mark her place, and sat the book carefully down on the table. She wouldn't get to finish it, now. A shame.
She got up out of the comfy chair in the back corner of the library that had become like a second home, left the room, and began to walk calmly down the hall. Gunshots sounded on both sides of her, and bodies littered the ground. She gently shoved a boy who was slumped against her locker, dripping blood from the many wounds on his small body. She pulled open the locker and removed the small silver pistol, cases of bullets, and holster that were hidden there. She strapped the holster to her belt and slid it to her right hip. Snatching her backpack from the top shelf of her locker, she stuffed the boxes of bullets into it, on top of the space blanket and history books. She threw the backpack over her shoulder and began to walk towards the chemistry classroom, wondering if anyone had the same thoughts she did.
She was lucky. The room was almost empty, and the few people who had been in that class when the announcement came on were very easy to dispose of. She threw open the cupboards, searching, searching... There it was.

Hydrochloric Acid
WARNING: Highly corrosive.
Not to be used without supervision.
Wear gloves and goggles at all times.
Maure grabbed all the available bottles and stuffed them into her backpack. Now, if I was hiding, where would I be...?
She could think of a few places someone might go to hide. A few places that someone might think would be deserted. The closest one was the orchestra classroom- and so that was where she went.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Rion Tue May 07, 2013 11:18 pm

Dom was roaming the halls, classes were going on, and people were going on with their daily routines. The loud speaker over head came on and the announcement was made. He heard a gun shot fire and screams of panic ridden teens running out of rooms. He rose an eye brow and dropped his lit cigarette and smiled. It was not the first time that he had witnessed a killing. He had seen an older man robbed and killed when he was younger. HE was hardened inside and out. He ran to his locker, turned it to unlock it and pulled out his baseball bag. He reached in and pulled out the fishing knife that his grandfather had given him long ago, his bat, and his helmet. He slid on his helmet, pivoted to his right ,and swung the metal bat. A TING was heard and a scream followed. A tall, skinny dark haired boy was on the ground crying. Dom looked down and smiled, sliding the small knife through the boy's throat and took off running. He knew that eventually, people were going to come after him, so taking them out with the small amounts of "weapons" that he had would help him in the long run.

Screams were traveling through the halls and Dom was ducking as fists flew towards him. He was athletic, and he was top of his class. He knew that he was a target, and he smashed into the main office. Kids were digging through draws and searching for anything that could be used as a weapon. With a quick glance, he noticed a small girl, freshman most likely, holding a stapler. Dom laughed and pushed her aside, "Don't make me kill you too." He moved forward and swung the bat, knocking out a boy on his baseball team, holding a bat similar to his own. The boy was too busy rummaging through a draw to realize that the bat was coming towards his head. Nobody was around him, they all were avoiding him. He was in a fury, and everyone was backing away from him. The younger girl tore out of the office and into the hallway. Dom broke the door knob off of the principal's office and found a small bag in the middle of the desk. He smiled and slug the bag over his shoulders, holding the bat over his right shoulder and smiled, leaning back on the desk.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Ai was in the advanced art room when the announcements went off, she was in the middle of drawing the face of a small dog, sighing she listened to the announcements, her eyes progressively widening throughout what the man said, the art teacher grabbed her gun from behind her desk, shooting another student in here. she ran out of the room panic in her eyes, straight to a locker she knew was abandoned. She used to use it for extra storage of her artwork. She opened the locker and to her luck found a small shotgun, with only a little bit of ammo "This should be enough" She muttered to herself as she took the shotgun, loaded it with shaky hands and put the extra ammo in her pockets, running off to one of the few places she knew she'd be safe.

The back of the school had a green house that only the gardening club ever went to, if she went there, she'd hopefully be safe for a while, plus she knows there are gardening tools that can be used as weapons if need be. She hurried up, running past a lot of wild scenes and dead bodies, before finally she made it, almost getting shot twice, and shooting one other. She hesitantly opened the greenhouse door.... looking around and opening drawers where the tools are kept, searching for any weapons and fortunately, finding a small amount of usable garden tools.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Russia Thu May 09, 2013 11:10 pm

The shots startled the fifteen-year-old. He cast a glance over his shoulder and saw the kids following him go down and stop moving. Finn shrugged and continued to run towards his destination, the room at the end of the hallway in his vision. He was able to see the room number, as well as the kids running away from it. As he took another step, though, Finn was slammed against a locker. His skull smashed against the metal painfully, and it sent a ringing sound to bounce off the insides of his head. Opening his light green eyes, it took a moment for his vision to focus. When he did, he wished it hadn't. Standing in front of him was the quarterback of his school’s football team. Standing in front of him was the quarterback of his school’s football team wielding a knife. His name was Derek, and he was an asshole.

“Hey, boys! I got Faggy Finn!” he shouted in obvious pride. Finn felt his stomach drop when he saw two other boys walk over to him. All three of the football players were at least three inches taller than the musician, and it was intimidating. It was terrifying because they were going to kill him and he wouldn't ever be able to play a lovely concerto on a cello or an oboe again. Finn could feel his slightly rosy cheeks drain of all colour when the blade in the quarterback's hand reflected from the light that shone in through the windows above the lockers. The metal was placed against Finn's cheek, a hand on the center of his chest to keep him there, as well as a knee shoved between his legs.

“What do you want?” Finn asked, surprised of his rather calm tone. It was soft like normal, and showed no signs of fear. This surprised Derek and his comrades, but it made the owner of the blade push it against my skin. Blood soon beaded out and trickled down the knife. He pulled it away and once his hand holding the knife was away from any vital parts of Finn’s body, he used his knee as leverage, putting all his weight on it and kicking the knife away. The shorter boy regained his footing and socked Derek in the face, diving for the blade. Once it was in his hand, Finn swung at one of the football players. It caught him in the side and he let out a cry of pain. This just made the pale boy smile and swing again, this time stabbing him in the neck. Blood spurted out and all over, and, when Finn spun around, more blood was spilled as he sliced the throat of the other open. Derek was his only threat left, but he was nowhere in sight. Shrugging, the sophomore fled the scene after ransacking the two dead bodies for weapons. He found a handgun as well as ammo, took it, and ran for his destination again.

Blood was oozing slowly down his cheek as he approached the orchestra room. He saw another girl, a senior named Maure, run towards the orchestra room, though, and stopped. That was a bad thing. That would most likely end in violence. Instead, he turned and went to the choir room, stopping dead in the doorway. Obviously, the room wasn’t deserted.

“Kiley.” he said simply, stepping in further and closing the door behind him. His hand rested on the butt of the handgun in case she tried to attack him or something.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Kiley was in the middle of organizing all of the weapons in the choir room when she heard the door open. She jumped in shock, reaching for the closest thing towards her, which just so happened to be a knife, and she spun around. When she realised it was only Finn, she lowered the knife and sighed in relief.

"Oh, Finn! It's only you," she said, taking no notice of his hand on his gun. He knew he would not hurt her if she didn't hurt him. "Come in and shut the door. We don't want anyone else coming in, do we? Especially not any more of those big bully seniors."

Although pretty much everyone liked Kiley, she still didn't like the bullies of the school. And she feels like it is her job to protect those who aren't liked by the bullies.

"There are tons of weapons in this room," she explained. "From knives to daggers to guns and bow and arrows. This room is freaking stacked with weapons! As long as we stay in here, we should be safe. Only people both you and I can trust unconditionally are allowed in on this secret. All right?"

"Oh, also," she cracked a slight smile, "You can take your hand off that gun. If I saved you from being killed from those guys chasing you, why would I want you dead now? Think about it," Kiley giggled a little, but then stopped, as this was no laughing matter.

She went back to organizing the weapons.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by Nightling Tue May 14, 2013 12:10 am

Reyna’s brain began to kick into high gear as she heard the struggles of other people in the hallway and classrooms surrounding her. The moans and screams pierced her ears and she soon became overly aware that the spot where she was sitting would no longer be safe. There were too many people coming up here. There were too many people dying. There were so many possibilities. Though Reyna never thought about killing anyone seriously, she did often wonder what it felt like. She wondered what kind of killer and person she would be after that first fatal blow.

Shaking herself from thought, Reyna threw all of the unessentials from her backpack and quickly searched the room for more weapons and dove back into the hallway where the extra armour was, stuffing everything she could into it. Looking at her notebook and the map she had drawn, Reyna decided to keep that one school-related item. Along with the notebook, she kept her sketchbook, some pens and pencils and some small throwing knives she stashed around the Orchestra room. How she got all of these weapons into the school without being caught? She had no clue, just glad that they were there now and not at home. Reyna was even more glad that she had taken the time to teach herself how to use so many weapons.

Throwing her pack onto her shoulder, Reyna shuffled quietly across the room toward the door leading to the hallway, away from where she had found the armour. This door faced some of the classrooms for the fine-arts and performing arts classes. There wouldn’t be anything of much use, except for if they had been stocked with more weapons. She huffed-growled as she moved closer to the door, pulling out her daggers. There, near the door and near the teacher's office, sat a pair of thick gloves and forearm protection. “How did I not notice people coming in here?” She huffed under her breath, “Mm.. Whatever.” came as a growl as she slipped the items on as quickly as possible.

Securing her backpack and armour, Reyna burst out of the door, the blades of her daggers pointing backward in, the position she favored most. In this position, it was possible to both punch and cut people along with adding more protection for the forearm and the blade acting as a rather small shield. They could also easily be flipped from this position into one better suited for cutting and jabbing. Even though the thick gloves made gripping the daggers a little harder, Reyna still felt like she had more of an advantage than many kids in the school.

Her senses were on overdrive, Reyna could see everything happening around her, even without physically needing to look. She knew what was happening and that the rather large jock behind her was holding a gun, aimed at her. She could feel it, she could sense all of the movements of people before they even began the action. Quick thinking and wit, along with skill in weapons would keep people alive in this large-scale Hunger Games. The jock cocked the gun and strengthened his stance, but before he could get the shot off, Reyna sped toward a wall, skid on the slippery, wet blood in front of it while turning and using the momentum to speed toward the guy. Her daggers had been flipped to the jabbing and stabbing position as she ran toward the guy with the gun, staring him straight in the face. She smirked at the slightly scared and amused look on his face that quickly turned into complete terror. Reyna used one dagger to cut his main hand holding the gun while using the other to cut the front of his left knee, moving the blade back and around.

The jock fell to the ground, unable to use one knee and defenseless, seeing as he had dropped his gun which had then skidded about ten feet away. There, he knelt in shock with a smile growing on his face. Reyna didn’t need his face to change to know that he had a buddy coming up behind her. She kicked the jock hard in the ribs before turning around to hit another in the face with the but of one dagger and stab him in the gut with her second dagger. The second guy fell to the ground, unconscious and dying. Reyna turned back to the one who she had kicked to see him holding his abdomen. She left out a huff of air that carried a chuckle, “Not so big and bad now, are we?” she mocked.

Reyna brought her heel down on his head rather heavily and heard a crunch. Possibly the breaking of his skull, or fracturing. She didn’t know and didn’t really care and wasn’t willing to chance this guy getting back up, even if he was now mortally wounded. “You might say this is a kind action. Putting you out of your misery.” She whispered maniacally in his ear. With those words, she drew her dagger across his throat and left him there to bleed out, in a slow and painful death with his friend. Looking up, she could see a skinny boy with black hair running into the Choir room.

Sighing thankfully, Reyna ran towards the Choir room, careful to make sure no one saw her and headed to a back door to the room. Hardly used and not known about by many people. She slithered in, being as quiet as she could and walked in to find her friends Finn and Kiley to be a sight for sore eyes. She was so relieved that she had to fight back tears before sneaking further into the room.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Post by You Know Who I Am Thu May 30, 2013 9:08 am

The orchestra room was empty.
Maure swore and slammed her fist onto a music stand. It fell to the floor with a loud crash. Crap. If no one had seen her come into the orchestra room, well, she had just announced her presence. She figured she had about a minute before someone came in here and attacked her.
She pulled off her backpack and tossed it on the floor, then crouched next to it and began shuffling through the contents. Weapons, weapons... I need the weapons... All she had was the gun, the bullets, and the acid, unless you counted a box of extremely sharp pencils as weapons- which, of course, they were.
She slid the gun into the holster, figuring that if she had to carry it, it would get in the way, and she was a pretty quick draw anyways, so what was the harm? If she could have her hands, free, that was better.
Footsteps. Someone was outside the door. She grabbed a bottle of acid and zipped up her backpack, slinging it over one shoulder. The bottles were glass...
The door flew open and two students- most likely seniors, judging by their height- stepped in. They were armed, the one nearest her with a gun, the other with a knife.
Maure threw the bottle of acid at the wall to the left of the door. When the bottle flew by them the seniors laughed. She just took a step back. The bottle smashed open and threw pieces of glass and acid on anything and everything nearby, which included one of the two seniors- the one with the knife. They stopped moving and stood very still for a second, then began to scream. The other spun around, giving her time to whip out the gun and very quickly, very easily, take aim and shoot the senior in the head. They stood for a moment as if suspended, then fell to the ground. The other already had holes eaten through part of their clothes. She stepped forward, held the gun to their head and fired.
The senior covered in acid had the knife, of course, but they also had an extra case of bullets, which she took. She took the other one's gun and the Kevlar vest they just happened to be wearing. Good thing she had been smart enough to shoot him in the head, and not the chest. It wouldn't have turned out very well.
She pulled out a map of the school that she hadn't used since her very first year. Hopefully it was still accurate. Where will we go next...? She actually wanted to stay here, but the bodies were kind of creeping her out. So she threw the bullet case into her backpack, along with the knife. She put the Kevlar vest on over her shirt, grabbed the backpack, and stepped out.
The best course of action would be to go from room to room collecting weapons and killing. But that could get dangerous, depending on how many people were in each room. She didn't think she had many enemies in the school before, but now everyone was her enemy. The choir room was nearby, maybe she would try that? Why am I obsessed with the music rooms?
Before she could come up with an answer, or better yet, move, she noticed the guard. They had started at the end of the hall furthest away and were now making their way towards her. She watched as they held up their gun and very calmly shot a senior who had just pulled their knife out of another student.
“No. No no no,” she whispered, turning in the vague direction of the choir room and taking a few running steps, then glancing back to see that the guard had seen her and was now moving a bit quicker down the otherwise-empty section of the hall. She ran a bit further, to the choir room door, then stopped and turned. The guard had already stopped and was facing her from about three yards away, leveling his gun. She yelped and dove to the side as he pulled the trigger. The bullet grazed her left shoulder, and she gasped in pain. She fumbled with the gun, pulling it out of the holster and shooting the guard dead right before he attempted to do the same to her. She rolled out of the way and slowly stood up, leaning on the wall for support. It wasn't that bad, no, kind of like a deep, burning cut. It would be great to get a bandage on it, but where would she find a first-aid kit?
She burst into the choir room, gun still drawn and smoking, blood just beginning to trickle out of her wound. There was someone directly in front of her- Finn something, a sophomore. Then a bit farther into the room, a girl, Kiley, another sophomore. She was shaking now, the last few event finally catching up to her. I killed them. I killed them.
“Look. I don't want to kill you, I don't really want to kill anyone else, but as you can see I need some help here.” She gestured to her bleeding shoulder with her right hand, the one that still held the gun. She shoved the gun in its holster. “Seriously, I just need a first-aid kit if you have one, then I'll leave you alone or whatever.” There was a mirror on the opposite wall, and she caught a glimpse of herself in it. She looked half insane, the uniform that her mother had insisted she wear splattered with blood, the Kevlar vest thrown over top of it, and the backpack, which someone was now hanging half open, slung over her uninjured shoulder. Well, that's encouraging.

Mistakes Can Be Fatal Empty Re: Mistakes Can Be Fatal

Ai continued looking through everything in the greenhouse with disappointment growing on her features at every moment. She smiled as she checked  under a upside-down empty flower pot on the bottom of the ground, finding more ammo for her gun. She winced as she heard more gunshots, eyes widening as she saw something red out of the corner of her eye. A small first-aid kit.

She picked up the first-aid kit and smiled, taking her backpack that she always kept with her and sliding everything but the gun in it. "perfect!" she said quietly to herself, hoping to not draw attention, but this time, even if she did, she'd be ready.

(Short reply. Not involved with anyone, and the greenhouse is a nice place, yeah~?)
